GMSD In-School Tennis Program
Germantown Municipal School believes strongly in providing as many opportunities for our students to be involved in life-long physically activities. This is why GMSD' s Coordinated School Health Department has partnered with the United States Tennis & Memphis Tennis Associations to bring our community Youth Tennis Programs to all our K-8 schools.
Each K-8 school as been equipped with age appropriate tennis racquets, tennis balls, and modified nets to be used in our Physical Education Programs. To take our in school program a step further, we have partnered with local tennis associations to provide FREE, no equipment required, "Tennis Play Days" . During these play days, our students will have the opportunity to play in pressure free skill development sessions on real courts. These sessions are organized and run by trained local tennis professionals.
